Impact Isolation Class (IIC) for Super Felt is 67, IIC this rating is for impact noise, like moving chairs, sofa, table or other furniture, footfalls, things dropping on the floor and so on.

Sound Transmission Class (STC) for Super Felt is 66. STC this rating is for the ambient sounds like music or voices.

Super Felt Underlay is one of the highest delta ratings in the industry. specially designed to give flooring a deep, rich wood sound.

It provides deep, rich sounds by absorbing noise instead of deflecting it. Made from recycled fibers. 3 mm thick pad corrects minor sub-floor imperfections. Added R-value to chilly floors. Includes adhesive strip and 3 inches of overlap film for linking multiple rolls. For use under engineered and laminate flooring.
