12" x 24" matte glazed porcelain tile from Ames Tile's Balance collection. Rectified edge, 9 mm thick, V2 slight variation, 88 faces. Rated for shower, steam, commercial, indoor and outdoor use. Made in Italy.

Balance 12" x 24" Pure is a glazed porcelain tile from Ames Tile, made in Italy. It has a matte finish and a rectified edge, and is 9 mm thick. The tile is rated V2 (slight variation) and is produced with 88 faces, so the graphics repeat across the installation. MR Rating: 1.

It is rated for use on shower walls and floors, steam walls and floors, light, medium and heavy commercial walls and floors, indoor walls and floors, and outdoor walls and floors. It is frost resistant.

Care: clean with non-oil-based, neutral pH cleaners. Do not use ammonia, as it will discolour grout. Most porcelain tile does not need sealing; if unsure, sprinkle water on the surface — if it beads and is not absorbed, it does not need to be sealed.

Does this porcelain tile need to be sealed?

Most porcelain and ceramic tile is virtually impervious and does not need to be sealed. Some polished porcelains need sealing due to pores being opened during the polishing process. If you are unsure, sprinkle water on the tile surface — if it beads and is not absorbed, it does not need to be sealed.

What is the correct way to clean this tile?

Use only non-oil-based neutral cleaners with a neutral pH. Vacuum or sweep regularly to remove dirt and gritty particles, then damp mop or sponge with an all-purpose, non-oil-based cleaner. Do not use ammonia, as it will discolour grout.

Where can the Balance 12" x 24" Pure tile be installed?
