Frequently asked questions
Need to seal this tile?
Most porcelain and ceramic tile does not need to be sealed. To check, sprinkle water on the tile surface—if it beads up and is not absorbed, the tile does not need to be sealed. Note that some polished porcelains do need sealing while the tile is unpolished as used.
Can I use acidic cleaners on this tile?
Do not use acidic cleaners or ammonia on this glazed ceramic tile. Ammonia will discolor grout. Use non-oil-based, neutral pH cleaners and all-purpose non-oil-based household cleaners for daily care.
How should the grout be cleaned?
Clean grout joints with a non-oil-based neutral pH cleaner, rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Acidic cleaners can erode grout and gut grout and discolour grout, so avoid acid cleaners, especially on sanded grout installations.
